The whole production process is completely electric while keeping an eye on consumption reduction.

In the last 10 years, RCR has reduced its electric consumption by 45%, while also reducing gas consumption by 28%. 

Energy recovery 

The energy released by machines is recovered and reused while heating is conveyed in order to fuel the heating system. 

40% of water recycled 

RCR recycle 40% of water employed in the production process while the part that cannot be recycled is decanted and treated to make it extremely pure. 

Ethical approach in managing raw materials 

RCR has decided not to use raw materials that release nitrogen oxides, the main gas responsible for acid rain. Products are made without using rare raw materials that are useful for medical purposes. For instance, gadolinium isn’t used because it is rare and essential for CT scan procedures.
